Frequently asked
FAQ
Everything about ordering custom glassine bags — and if your question isn’t here, just call or text us.
Ordering
What’s the minimum order?
Our minimum is 500 pieces for standard flat, gusseted, deli, and favor bags. Smaller runs of glassine envelopes or window bags can be quoted case by case.
Is there a maximum order size?
No. We regularly produce runs into the tens of thousands for bakeries, retailers, and confectionery brands.
Can I order a sample before a bulk run?
Yes. We can produce a pre-production proof so you can approve the physical bag before we run the full order — ask us for terms when you request your quote.
Can I mix products or styles in one order?
Yes. Combine styles — say a Flat Glassine Bag for one SKU and a Window Glassine Bag for another — and the combined volume counts toward your price tier.
Can I reorder later and match my last batch?
Yes. We keep your artwork, size, and color specs on file, so reorders match your previous run exactly and move faster.
Design & Artwork
Do you charge for mockups?
No. Mockups are free with unlimited revisions until you approve. You only pay once the design is signed off and production begins.
What artwork files do you need?
Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF) are ideal. If you only have a photo or a PNG, our designers will recreate your logo print-ready at no charge.
I don’t have a logo — can you help?
Yes. Send a reference — a photo, a sketch, or even a description — and our designers will build print-ready artwork for you.
Can you match my brand (Pantone) colors?
Yes. We offer custom Pantone matching on both bag tint and print so your glassine bags match your brand exactly.
Can you individually personalize each bag?
Yes for larger custom projects — send a spreadsheet of names, dates, or SKUs. This is popular for weddings and product launches; ask about setup for variable printing.
How many revisions do I get?
Unlimited, and always free, until you approve the mockup.
Production & Shipping
How long does production take?
About two weeks from approved mockup for standard styles, and two to three weeks for window bags or custom sizes.
Do you offer rush production?
Yes. Rush is available for firm launch or event deadlines — tell us your in-hands date and we’ll confirm what’s possible.
Where do you ship?
Nationwide across the U.S., and internationally on request. See our Shipping Policy for details.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is quoted with your order based on quantity and destination. Glassine bags are light for their size, so bulk orders are economical to ship.
Can you ship to multiple addresses?
Yes. Provide a distribution list with your order and we’ll split the shipment across locations.
What if my order arrives damaged or wrong?
We make it right. If an order arrives defective or does not match your approved mockup, we remake or replace the affected items.
Pricing & Payment
How much do glassine bags cost?
Bulk pricing is by quote; typical ranges run from about $0.10 to $0.40 per unit at minimum quantities, improving as the run grows. Each product page shows its range.
Why don’t you list exact prices?
Price depends on quantity, size, and decoration method. A quote is the only accurate number — and we return one within a business day.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards, ACH bank transfer, and purchase orders for established organizations and institutions.
Do you offer a price-match or lowest-price guarantee?
Yes. If you have a comparable written quote, we’ll match or beat it — that’s our lowest-price guarantee.
Product & Care
What colors are available?
Natural translucent, White, Kraft, Black, and custom Pantone-matched print, across flat, gusseted, envelope, deli, window, and favor styles.
Is glassine food-safe?
Yes. Our glassine stock is food-contact safe and grease-resistant, suitable for bakery, deli, and confectionery use.
What are the bags made of?
Glassine paper — a smooth, dense, semi-transparent paper made grease- and moisture-resistant through a supercalendering process.
How do I care for or store them?
Store flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can yellow glassine over time. Once filled, treat as you would any food-contact packaging.
Can glassine bags be sized to fit inside another box or display case?
Yes. Send us the interior dimensions of your box or case and we’ll recommend a size that fits comfortably with room to fold or close.
